sparkle for a cure

nine years ago today my grandfather, peter john stappers, passed away from pancreatic cancer. he meant the world to me and losing him, especially to such an awful disease, was one of the hardest things I’ve ever gone through.
christmas 1992
my grandfather, who I called grampy, was an incredible source of support and unconditional love for my little brother and me. he never missed our sports games and school concerts, picked us up from school when we were sick, baked us cookies, showered us with hugs and kisses, always told us silly jokes, and never missed an opportunity to tell us how proud he was of us and how much he loved us.   I feel incredibly blessed to have had 20 years with him.
I have designed this onyx and purple velvet ribbon necklace, named the pj necklace, to benefit the lustgarten foundation for pancreatic cancer research. 100% of proceeds from the necklace will be donated to this amazing foundation.
